Meet Founder, LaKasha McNeill
A proud native of Dunn, North Carolina, LaKasha's journey began on the streets of "Redbone." Today, she is a mother to three daughters and one son, and the proud grandmother to her "Legend Jace". Her life is a testament to the power of resilience and the grace of God. In 2013, following a divine calling, she launched the Ladies UnShackled Movement. What started as an annual conference grew into a life-changing mission. By the seventh year, the vision expanded: God called her to build a true sisterhood for the women of Dunn and the surrounding communities.
Her philosophy is simple yet profound: Love is the cure. Having navigated the highs and lows of life, she understands that everyone is fighting a battle. Her mission is to create a safe space where women can drop their masks, be their authentic selves, and experience genuine, unconditional love. Whether she is encouraging, complimenting, or simply "loving on" a sister, she is walking in her purpose. With a promise from the Lord that MUAH Sistas will one day reach a global scale, she remains steadfast. People may come and go, but the vision remains unshakable.
MEET THE BOARD
TaShaka Evans, Vice President
A native of Dunn, N.C., Tashaka brings a vibrant, uplifting energy to her role as Vice President of MUAH Sistas Inc. With a career as a Line Operator at Magnera and a busy life as a mother of three and grandmother of six, she understands the importance of balance, resilience, and community. Tashaka is currently embracing her "soft girl era," focusing on intentional growth and becoming the best version of herself. Known for her ability to light up any room, she is dedicated to encouraging and uplifting every woman she meets, ensuring that the mission of MUAH Sistas is felt through every interaction.
ZaKoria Ray, Treasurer
Mental Health Therapist, Dunn native, and faith-driven leader, ZaKoria has been a devoted member of MUAH Sistas since 2020. She combines her professional background in mental health with a passion for praise dance and global travel to bring a holistic perspective to the board. An adventurous soul who loves trying new things, ZaKoria is dedicated to the uplifting mission of the sisterhood and believes the organization’s future is limitless.
Tiffany Bullock, Secretary
Tiffany is a Newton Grove native with a heart full of love for her two amazing daughters. At MUAH Sistas, she is known for her laughter, her creativity, and her unwavering faith. Professionally, Tiffany serves as a Lead Intake Specialist at AdaptHealth, but her mission extends far beyond the workplace. She believes in the power of "pouring into others" and has seen firsthand how MUAH Sistas creates a life-changing environment for women. Grateful for the sisterhood, Tiffany is committed to ensuring every woman feels the strength of a community rooted in God and mutual support.
Elder Barbara Holden, Chaplain
A Harnett County native and a devoted mother and grandmother of 14, Barbara is the "joy" of MUAH Sistas. Her leadership is rooted in her love for God and a spirit of gratitude for how far she has come. Since joining the sisterhood, she has been a constant source of happiness and warmth, believing that no matter where the "sistas" are, love should lead the way. Barbara is dedicated to the mission of MUAH and considers herself deeply blessed to serve such a vibrant community.
Vanessa Oliver, Board Advisor
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, and a resident of Smithfield for over 30 years, Vanessa has been a cornerstone of MUAH Sistas since its very beginning. A dedicated professional with a decade of service at Magnera, she brings a steady and loyal presence to the board. Vanessa’s journey with the sisterhood is one of beautiful transformation; once the "quiet one," she has found her voice and "come out of her shell" through the power of community. She finds her greatest joy when the sisters come together as one, and she is a passionate advocate for the lifelong bonds formed within the organization.

As an entrepreneur in the beauty space, April uses her gift of braiding not just to enhance outer beauty, but to uplift and empower women from the inside out. She believes in creating safe, supportive spaces where women can feel seen, valued, and encouraged. Through her journey, April stands as a testimony of strength, faith, and transformation—committed to sisterhood, authenticity, and becoming the best version of herself while helping others do the same.
BRITTANY DUDLEY
A proud native of Dunn, North Carolina, and a graduate of Triton High School, Brittany brings a spirit of dedication to everything she does. In January 2026, she reached a major milestone by earning her Medical Assistant certification, showcasing her passion for caretaking and community health. Above all, Brittany is a devoted mother who finds her greatest joy in family. Guided by the motto "We all we got," she cherishes every moment spent with her loved ones. For Brittany, sisterhood isn't just a word—it’s a commitment to uplifting those around her and building a foundation of mutual support.

As a Licensed Esthetician and the visionary behind Loretta Jae Esthetics, Latefia Young is dedicated to the art of confidence. Specializing in professional makeup, precision waxing, and customized skincare, Latefia has turned her passion for beauty into a thriving sanctuary for her clients. Beyond the treatment room, Latefia is a devoted mother to three boys and a fierce advocate for the next generation. She is deeply passionate about uplifting young women, helping them recognize their own potential and beauty. When she isn't building her empire or mentoring, you can find her satisfying her wanderlust through travel or indulging in a well-deserved shopping trip.
